A warm welcome always awaits you at Ocean Guest House in the heart of South Shields just minutes from the beach and in the centre of the world famous Ocean Road.  Accommodation prices are competitive and, despite being only a small hotel, we have an excellent reputation for service and, as a family run business, we welcome families holidaying in the area.  We are also pet friendly so feel free to book your dog in as well!

 

We are close to many attractions including the beach, fair, parks, South Shields main shopping centre and we are well served with local transport to the major cities of the North East including Newcastle, Gateshead, Durham and Sunderland via the Metro or regular bus services. 

 

We are opposite the award winning fish and chip shop "Colmans of South Shields" and there are many more restaurants on Ocean Road which is famous for its many curry houses and wide range of international cuisine.

 

Our rooms all have secure free wireless Internet, microwave, toaster, as well as tea and coffee making facilities. 

 

Our single ensuite rooms are affordably priced at just £30 per person per night (including breakfast) or £25 per person per night (excluding breakfast).  Please contact us for prices on double and family rooms.

 

All of our rooms are strictly no smoking. Contractors are very welcome, we offer fresh packed lunches and we cater for all types of breakfasts on request.
